Interview Process

Apart from sending application documents candidates to the English Language Programs at Poznan University of Medical Sciences are required to attend an INTERVIEW with the University representatives.

Starting from the academic year 2009/2010 new rules on conducting interviews with applicants to the English Language Programs at our University are introduced.

The following criteria will be taken into account:
- record of academic achievements from previous school/college or additional courses taken
- knowledge of Biology, Chemistry (General + Organic for 4 MD) and Physics (on the basis of oral or written test) within high school/college level requirements
- self-introduction/motivation/ interpersonal skills
- voluntary work/experience in health services
- English language skills

All applicants to the 4 Year MD, 6 Year MD, 5 Year DDS, 6 Year PharmD, and 3 Year Phisiotherapy Programs are required to take an internal, one-best-answer, 90-minute, 60-question TEST with 20 questions in each area: Biology, Chemistry and Physics during the interview.

NOTE:
No dictionaries, phones, smart phones, tablets or other electronic devices are allowed into the testing/ interview room.

Applicants can use calculators (without memory module and access to the Internet), Physics formula books and periodic tables.

Familiarizing with the above books will enable the non-native speaker candidates to get to know specialist English vocabulary from Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
