The Six Year Pharm.D. Program

Admissions Requirements

The Faculty of Pharmacy offers a six-year program in English leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. The program is open to foreign candidates who have graduated from high schools, obtained good grades preferably in chemistry, and also in biology and physics, and possess sufficient knowledge of English. The applicants may be accepted to this program after completion of the requirements outlined below.

Requirements for post-graduation:

Upon returning to the United States, students must complete the FPGEE®(foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination). Additional information may be found at http://www.nabp.net. Canadian students should check with their local provincial government in order to determine if there are any additional requirements.

Entry requirements:

You will have to submit the following documents:
1. Copies of all secondary educational certificates with English translations if necessary.
2. $200 Application Fee(Check or Money order made out to Poznan University of Medical Sciences, sent to the USA Office).
3. Completed application forms.
4. 2 Letters of Recommendation from science professors and/or guidance counselors.
5. Official High School or College transcripts. (All transcript from outside the US and Canada must be officially translated by an accredited translation service)

Your application will be considered carefully by the Admissions Committee and applicants selected on their qualifications will be invited for an interview.

The interview together with your school grades will provide a basis for the Committee decision regarding your admission to the University.
