Requirements
The six-year program in English is designed for North American and Foreign candidates from Europe who have graduated from high school or college and obtained good grades in physics, biology and chemistry. They may be accepted to this program after having presented their high school transcripts and having been interviewed by the Admissions Committee. Students wishing to apply from the U.S.A. and Canada are encouraged to contact the USA Director of Admissions for further information. As of 2/2004, the curriculum does differ from that of the 4-Year program. The following documents and items are required for every applicant:
Students from outside the US who have not taken the SAT or ACT exam will have to take an exam before their interview to test their knowlege of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Your documents will be considered by the Admissions Comitee and they will determine if you may be invited to a preliminary interview. Then the committee consisting of the Director of Admissions, Dean and the Vice-Dean will make their decision concerning your acceptance to the program on basis of result of the interview together with your educational achievements from high school. The Admissions Committee recognizes a responsibility to consider applicants as individuals; particularly in the evaluation of the breadth of their educational experience, their personality traits, maturity level, and appropriate motivation and commitment to a career in medicine. Of particular importance to some applicants, is the early admissions procedure (EAP) according to which candidates may apply for early acceptance on a preferred basis. Successful candidates in this ongoing procedure may reserve their place in the class commencing in the following September, thus eliminating a great deal of uncertainty in their academic plans and prospects.
